'RootandStem started from an aspiration to share true Neapolitan pizza with Roma. The Bianchi family opened our little pizzeria in 1985, continuing a legacy with recipes passed down for generations.
'Marco Bianchi, our pioneer, grasped the craft of pizza-making while exploring Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the cradle of pizza. Upon her return to the UK, her mission was to capture the essence of genuine Italian pizza, focusing on classic techniques and prime ingredients.
Our journey began in a humble 12-seat establishment and has since blossomed into a community favorite. Nevertheless, our dedication to supreme quality and the integrity of our methods remain steadfast. We employ traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough fresh each day, and select the best ingredients available.
Currently, 'RootandStem is still within the care of the Bianchi family, now with the second generation at the helm of our enthusiastic crew. While we've adopted modern advancements, our core remains true to our origins: conjuring delectable, authentic pizza that unites patrons.
